Well, birthday *eve* gig. But as you can see from my Tower Records review, that could make all the difference between me representing the next generation or not. So, you know, better come down before it’s too late.
Yes, I have an exciting (hopefully. As opposed to dull) gig on Saturday 25 July at one of London’s leading jazz venues, the Ram Jam Club (at The Grey Horse, 46 Richmond Road, Kingston-upon-Thames, KT2 5EE)
In what will be a veritable feast of summery bossa nova and chilled-out jazz, I’ll be showcasing songs from my debut album Photograph, plus other tunes, accompanied by the excellent Dave Colton on guitar, Paul Jefferies on bass and Ben Twyford on drums.
Tickets are just £5 (on the door, or call 020 8549 8709 to book a table), doors are 7pm, music is 8pm and they serve great Caribbean food. Well, it is in Kingston…
Here’s the Facebook event page.
Here’s a nice review of my album.
And here’s Keyboard Cat. (Sadly not booked to play the Ram Jam. They can’t afford hs fish. I mean: fees.)
