I’m Andrea, and I’m a screenwriter (and occasional freelance writer, and very occasional musician).
I now primarily write film scripts – but I’ve also written sketches, jokes, scripts and parody songs for podcasts, stage shows, TV and radio.
I grew up in the West Midlands, studied in Sheffield, lived in London for over two decades, and recently moved to West Yorkshire. I’ve been a cinema manager, a jazz singer, a stand-up comedy promoter and a (Labour) Westminster City Councillor, though not all at the same time. I’m also a breast cancer survivor. And I do like a big scarf.
