Chantal,Interesting perspective. I wonder about that politeness thing. I feel I’m on the fence. Sure, I feel confident that I did the right thing in saying something, but I resisted the urge to yell “Get the hell away from my daughter!” Somehow, in my hazy thinking, it struck me that decorum was needed on first contact. Maybe somehow my radar got jammed, maybe I felt some sort-of non-threatening vibe from the guy. I don’t know.
